Sarpudyar




Sarpudyar is a charming village situated 16 km from Ralam in Pithoragarh District. It is located at an elevation of about 3,015 m. This village lies on the Ralam Valley and Birje Ganga Pass trek route. Prominent attraction is a huge cave with several large boulders. The village nestles among thick forests of rhododendron and juniper. It offers a panoramic view of Nanda Devi Peak and Rajrambha. Pantu (10 km), Dumar, Munsiyari, Lilam, Rargari, Mapang, Martoli are nearby tourist destinations. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.

The nearest airport is Pant Nagar Airport and the nearest railway station is at Kathgodam.
