Sanvordem




The town of Sanvordem lies in South Goa District and is around 6 km from Moissal. It is on the north-western border of Sanguem taluk, on the road connecting Darbandora with Borim (a town in Ponda taluk).

The Sanguem River has its course through the town. Sanguem, noted for the Selaulim Dam and Jama Masjid, is around 10 km south. Prominent places like Sanguem and Mollem (famed for the Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary) are accessible by road from the town.

St Anthony's School is one of the main educational institutions in this area.

Sanvordem Curchorem Railway Station is on the Margao-Londa rail route. Goa Airport serves Sanvordem.
