Sannidhi

Sannidhi is a new chapel built at the top of Malayattoor hill, on the northernmost part. Sannidhi displays a modern architectural touch. The chief attraction here is the Piyatha sculpture moulded at the top of the chapel.

Near to the sannidhi, there is a miraculous water spring which is believed to be the spot where St Thomas quenched his thirst during the time of prayer. The well is considered to be holy, as the water from it has the power to heal aliments.

Malayattoor Church, Marthoma Mandapam and the Golden Cross at Kurishumudi are the attractions in the vicinity.

By road, Malayattoor can be approached from Kochi, which is about 47 km away. Malayattoor is about 10 km to the north-east of Kaladi. Angamaly Railway Station on the Ernakulam-Thrissur line serves this area.
