Sagwara




Sagwara is a taluk headquarters in Dungarpur District of Rajasthan. It lies on the bypass which deviates from National Highway 8, connecting the major towns of Dungarpur and Banswara. The nearest town is Jethana, 5 km to the south.

Some of the other towns accessible from Sagwara are Thakarda, 7 km to the west and Padwa, 7 km to the north. Galiyakot is a village about 19 km from Sagwara.

Galiyakot holds an annual Urs festival, which is an important event.
