Roshanara Garden




Roshanara Garden was built by Roshanara, the sister of Jahanara, the favorite daughter of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It is situated at Chandni Chowk in Shahjahanabad.

The garden has a raised canal with flowering plants on both sides. Today the garden holds a white marble pavilion built in memory of the princess Roshanara, who died in 1671 and was buried there. There is an elite club called Roshanara club built by the British. Roshanara Garden is also famous as Sabzi Mandi.
