Ramankari




Ramankari, a village in Kuttanad which is famous for its snake boat races, is located on the Alappuzha-Changanacherry State Highway in Alappuzha District. This picturesque village spans an area of about 16 sq km. This village is blessed with backwaters, paddy fields and rivers which give it a striking appearance. One can also spot small rowing boats and houseboats on the rivers.

This village is situated near Nedumudi. The village can be accessed by road from Alappuzha and Changanacherry.
