Partagali




A center of culture and learning, Partagali is in Canacona taluk of South Goa District, Goa. Located off the National Highway 17, Partagali is around 3 km from Astagal and 5 km from Avem. The main landmark of the place is Shri Saunsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevotam Math, on the banks of the holy rivulet Kushawati. There is a huge Banyan Tree near the math, which is believed to be at least 2000 years old. Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, Patnem Beach, Rajbhag Beach and Galjibag Beach are other destinations to visit. The place can be approached via Goa Airport and Canacona Railway Station.
