Parshavanath Temple




Also known as Khartar Vashi Temple, Parshavanath Temple is situated at Mount Abu in the Sirohi District of Rajasthan. Built by Mandlik and his family in 1459, the temple is dedicated to Lord Parshavnath. This three storeyed temple is the tallest shrine at Dilwara. The outer walls of the temple are adorned with beautiful sculptures in gray sandstone, depicting dikpalakas, vidyadevis, yakshinis, salabhanjikas and other decorative sculptures, comparable to the temples in Khajuraho and Konark.
