Parra is a delightful rural area located amidst a triangle formed by Arpora, Saligao and Mapusa. This village is famous among the tourists for its numerous beaches and restaurants. The cashew covered region forming an emerald semi-circle, lies to the north-west. Parra, with a large number of fields of evergreen chillies, watermelons and sweet potatoes, is an ideal destination for nature lovers.

Anjuna Beach, Baga Beach and Calangute Beach are immensely popular beaches, easily accessible from here. Traditional cottages are available for accommodation. Goa Airport is within 50 km range and the nearest railway station is Karmali Railway Station (30 km).
