Pang lies at a height of about 4,630 m above sea level in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is an excellent campsite for trekkers and mountaineers. Pang is a favorite track for the bike and cycle riders, traversing the mountains. A steep ascent from Pang leads to the
Morey Plains.
One can approach Pang from
Darcha via the Baralacha Pass. Jeep services connect Pang with
Zanskar,
Ladakh, Spiti and Lahaul.
