Palam




Palam is a bustling residential area located about 18 km south-west of Connaught Place, in South West Delhi District. Historians says that the place has had settlements since the 16th century, when it formed a part of Babur’s empire in Delhi. Palam is located on the RewariDelhi rail route and is about 5 km south of Delhi Cantonment. Places of tourist interest in and around Palam include the IAF Museum and Palam Mosque. Dwarka - Asia's largest residential colony – is located next to Palam. Hotel Centaur, Hotel Radisson and Hotel Uppal's Orchid are some top-end hotels nearby. Indira Gandhi International Airport is located at Palam.
