Palakkunnu is a village in Kasargod District of Kerala. It lies on the Kasargod-Kanhangad route, about 1 km north of Trikkannad.
The place is famous for Palakkunnu Sree Bhagavathy Temple, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Mootha Bhagavathy (Kurumba Bhagavathy). The annual Bharani Maholsavam celebrated in this temple attracts thousands of devotees from far and near. The festivities start on the next day of the Arattu Festival of Trikkannad Temple and end with the Auirathiri Ulsavam.
