Pajena

Pajena is a small town in Bageshwar District of Uttaranchal. It is situated on the state highway linking Bageshwar to Gwaldam in Chamoli District. Baijnath, the place famous for the temple complex built by the Katyuri kings, is an interesting tourist site.

Sirkot, Agarkot, Sengad, Thakala, Garur, Agar, Salyani and Simgadi are locations around Pajena. Bageshwar is the nearest major town. Pilgrimages can be undertaken to Shri Haru Temple, and Gauri Udiyar Temple. Sundardunga Glacier is a location catering to the adventure lovers.

Pant Nagar Airport serves this area. Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest major airport.
