Pachyderm Palace




Pachyderm Palace is an ancient bungalow situated 25 km from Mananthavady in Wayanad District. It stands on the southern edge of Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. The bungalow offers a cozy stay in its five rooms and three top houses. Rooms come with attached modern toilets. Traditional Kerala dishes are served. An open jeep ride is arranged three times a day to see the residents of the sanctuary. Bicycle ride and jungle walk are other comforts. The palace also provides an opportunity to study the style and art of living of tribes settled in the area. The nearest rail terminuses are Kozhikode Railway Station and Kannur Railway Station.
