Noyyal River




Noyyal River originates from the Vellingiri Hills in the Western Ghats in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu and flows through two industrial cities, Coimbatore and Tirupur. The 173 km long river is a tributary of the Cauvery River and finally it merges with it. It has a total area of 0.35 million ha. The basin has a length of 180 km and width of 25 km.
