Narsinghpur, earlier known as Chhota Gadarwara, is the seat of administration of Narsinghpur District, in Madhya Pradesh. It is a small and sleepy town situated on the Singri River. Narsinghpur is about 84 km south-west of Jabalpur.

Narsingh Mandir is a major point of interest in the town. Excursions to Brahman Ghat, Jhoteshwar and Damaru Ghati will be an enchanting experience.

Nearest airport is the Jabalpur Airport. Narsinghpur Railway Station is on the Mumbai-Kolkata line of the Central Railways. National Highway 26 passes through the town. State buses frequently ply to Seoni, Lakhnadon, Sagar and Kareli.
