Naharkanta

Naharkanta is at the northern end of Khordha District. It is on the National Highway 5 and is about 10 km from Chandaka.

The Mahanadi has its course through the place. Jaydev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is situated here. Chandaka Elephant Reserve, Nandankanan Sanctuary and Kanjia Lake are the prime tourist destinations in the neighborhood.

Bhubaneswar Railway Station is the nearest rail junction and Biju Patnaik Airport is the closest airport.
