Nagada




Nagada is an industrial town situated in the north-western part of Ujjain District, Madhya Pradesh. It is famous for ancient temples. The town is around 60 km from Ujjain, a holy city located on the banks of Shipra River.

Mahakaleshwara Temple, Chintamani Ganesh Temple, Kal Bhairava Temple, Harsiddhi Temple and Bhartrihari Caves are the nearby attractions.

Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport and Ujjain Junction Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
