Muttumthala Makham Urs

Muttumthala Makham Urs is held on the west side of Chithari, a coastal village in Kasargod District. It is held once in a year in memory of an Auliya, Syed Is-Haque Waliyyullah. Both Hindus and Muslims take part in this nercha festival. On the last day, a grand feast is held for the devotees.

Chithari is about 4 km from Kanhangad and 5 km from the Bekal Fort.
