Chithari




Chithari, a coastal village in Kasargod District, is located 4 km north of Kanhangad city. The name Chithari means 'place surrounded by river'. As the name suggests, the Chithari River originates from the eastern hills and surrounds the village from three sides and drains into the Arabian Sea. The Bekal Fort is 5 km away.
