Lying to the east of
Leh, Muglib is a village in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 13,556 ft above sea level and is 15 km from
Tangtse. Muglib is bounded by
Durgu in the west,
Shyok in the north,
Lukung in the east and Erad in the south.
The picturesque landscape and the small valleys surrounded by beautiful mountains and hillocks make Muglib a choice destination for tourists. Muglib is an ideal campsite for the trekkers as well. Pangong Lake is a short excursion from here.
One can approach Muglib from Phobrang and Merak.
