Mudavanmugal Shri Aadiparashakthi Devi Temple




Shri Aadiparashakthi Devi Temple is a divine spot situated at Vaniamangalam in Thiruvananthapuram. The presiding deity of the temple is goddess Shakti, the omnipresent bliss, also called as Aadiparashakthi.

The main deity, Adiparashakthi of Vaniyath is regarded as a reminiscent of the Aruvikkara Devi. This spiritual retreat belongs to the Vaniyath family, who had close links with the royal family of Travancore.

Apart from the presiding deity, the temple complex is also home to sub deities of Lord Ganesh, Nagar, Madan Thampuran, Brahmarakshas, Yogeeshwaran and Manthramurti. Annual festival star days of Bharani and Karthika in the month of February are celebrated with gaiety and fanfare by the devotees.

Major Chengallur Mahadev Temple, Academy of Magical Sciences and Noopura Institute of Indian Classical Dance and Music are situated nearby.

Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Regular buses are available from this place. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is the nearest railway access.
