Lar is a small rural town situated in the extreme south of
Deoria District,
Uttar Pradesh. It is 41 km from
Deoria, the district headquarters.
The nearby places, Bhagalpur and Salempur are 11 km and 10 km respectively from here.
Lar has Lar Road Station as its main railway station. However, the most convenient railway station is at Salempur. Nearest airport is at Varanasi.
