Lama Dal Lake

One of the prime vistas of Chamba District, Lama Dal, which literally means a long lake, is 45 km from Chamba town. It is the largest among the seven lakes of Chamba, others being Chamera, Khajjiar, Manimahesh, Gadasru and Mahakali.

Held sacred to Lord Shiva, Lama Dal lies in midst of a bare rock, and there is a Shiva temple on its banks.
