Lagankhel is located in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. This charming hamlet is surrounded by
Fukche in the north,
Nyakmikle in the south and
Hanle in the west. Lagankhel Stupa is the prime attraction. The meandering
Indus River is an attractive sight in this area.
A trek from Mahe leads to Lagankhel. One can also approach this place from Chumar.
