Kunhimangalam Bhagavathi Temple




Kunhimangalam Bhagavathi Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Kunhimangalam, a village at the northern end of Kannur District. The presiding deity is Goddess Kurumba (Goddess Durga). The temple is about 4 km from Payyanur and 2 km from Ezhilode.

The main attraction of the temple is its five day long annual festival. On the fourth day, eleven different types of theyyams representing mythological character present a dramatic display of ritual dance.
