Kottukal




Kottukal is an agricultural hamlet in the eastern region of Kollam District. It is situated about 8 km from Anchal and close to the M.C Road. The village is renowned for its unique Rock Cut Cave Temple which stands high in the middle of a paddy field. Kottukal Farm, with a wide collection of coconut plantation, herbs plantation and cattle farm is also a site worth visiting.

Other attractions close to this place include Kadakkal Temple, Chadayamangalam, and Jatayu Para. Punalur, Kulathuppuzha and Thenmala are easily accessible from here.

Trivandrum International Airport and Punalur Railway Station are the nearest access points.
