Kharmauza rests on the shore of the river Brahmaputra. Situated to the north of Agia (10 km) and to the east of Goalpara (13 km), Kharmauza is in Goalpara District of Assam. Salkocha (19 km) and Chunari (14 km) in the west and Chapar (13 km) in the north borders this place. One of the biggest lakes of lower Assam, Urpad Beel, at Agia is easily accessible from here.
