Khandepar Caves are four rock cut caves, dating back to the 12th century, located at
Khandepar in
North Goa District. Khandepar in
Ponda is about 36 km from
Panaji.
Situated in close vicinity, the first and second one are almost linked. The third is at a distance of one meter from the first cave. Fourth cave, opposite the first cave, is mainly used for meditation and prayers. It has a platform to hold the linga in it.
