JIS College of Engineering is situated at
Kalyani in
Nadia District. It was established in 2000 by the JIS Foundation of
Kolkata. The college is affiliated to the
West Bengal University of Technology and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
The college offers engineering education in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, and Bio-Medical Engineering. Masters degree in Computer Application and Business Administration are also provided.
The campus has an area of about 10 acre with a homely atmosphere. A well-stocked library with a collection books, journals, periodicals, and references material is available. Hostel facilities are offered for both boys and girls.
