Hanggrai is a community festival celebrated by Tripuri tribes. It is similar to
Makar Sankranti festival. During the festival season people gather at
Dumboor Lake to pay homage to the Goddess Tuiboma. The Reang tribes of
Tripura also celebrate the festival to worship their household deities.
