Dumboor Lake




Dumboor Lake, located about 110 km from Agartala and 58 km from Udaipur, is a popular picnic spot in the midst of picturesque hills. It sprawls over 41 sq km with 48 islands within.

This lake is the source of the Gomati River and also the confluence of rivers Raima and Sarma. Various species of migratory birds are attracted by the lake during winter season. Boating facilities are available. Nearby is the Trithamukh, a pilgrim center, where the Poush Sankranti Fair takes place in January.

Tripura Road Transport Corporation, popularly known as TRTC, provides daily bus service from Battala Depot. Taxis may be hired from Udaipur, Agartala, and from Amarpur.
