Gurdwara Kothi Sahib is a historical
gurdwara located about 15 km from
Sultanpur Lodhi in
Kapurthala District. This is the place where Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, was kept under house arrest by the orders of the Nawab Daulat Khan Lodhi. A two storied building where the
guru stayed, and where the two sons of the guru were born, is located nearby.
Sultanpur Lodhi has its own railway station. Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
