Gangapukhuri




Gangapukhuri is a beautiful pond located at Vill Barkuriha in Barbhag. It is about 7 km south of Nalbari.

The pond was dug by a Brahmin called Gangadhar. The name of King Fengua is also associated with this tank.

A mela is held here on Ashok Ashtami every year. During this time, devotees from different parts of the country visit here to pay homage to departed souls.

Sonkuriha is a nearby attraction.
