Barbhag




Surrounded by thickets of bamboos and ordinary timbers, Barbhag is around 15 km from Nalbari. This village is mostly dominated by the indigenous tribes of Assam. The villagers are mainly farmers. There are numerous attractions around the village. The major attraction is Sonkuriha, a famous picnic spot in Nalbari District. The village has many small natural ponds and many big ponds like historical Gangapukhuri. Barbhag is 45 km from Guwahati. Nalbari Railway Station is the closest railhead.
