Edapayalu




Edapayalu is located in Medak District. In Telugu 'Edu' stands for the number 7 and 'payalu' for streams. This picturesque spot marks the confluence of seven rivulets which flow into Manjeera River and hence the name Edapayalu.

This place is famous for the Kanaka Durga Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. 90 km from Hyderabad, Edapayalu is well-connected by road.
