Durubas are ethnic groups inhabiting the Duruba village in
Gupteswar, 600 km from
Bhubaneswar. These tribal groups are devotees of Lord Shiva. Durubas are very simple in their life style. Various rites and rituals are rigidly followed during their marriage ceremony. On the market days, the Durubas are in their best attires. A death in this ethnic village is observed as a community ritual, and visitors are not encouraged during those days.
