Dharamtul




Dharamtul in Morigaon District of Assam is a village, situated 95 km east of Guwahati. The Kopili River flows through this village. Dharamtul is located on the National Highway 37. It is bounded by Aujari (10 km) and Lasanbari (13 km) in the north, Chaparmukh (18 km) in the east and Makariagaon (6 km) in the south.

Raha, an important trade center for products such as paddy, jute and mustard, is located 18 km to the east of Dharamtul. Jagiroad Dry Fish Market, the largest of its kind in Asia, is also easily accessible from here.

Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (95 km) and Jagiroad Railway Station serve Dharamtul.
