Danapur is a sacred village situated in Patna District of Bihar. It is a well known pilgrim center for Sikhs, since the place was honored by the visit of
Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. A gurdwara called Handi Wali Sangat has also been established here in the memory of his visit. One can also find a ‘Handi’ (a vessel) here, assumed to be the same in which people cooked rice for Guru Sahib.
