Chir Ghat

Chir Ghat is the place where Lord Krishna, after killing the Kesi demon, rested. This place remains as a popular bathing spot in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh.

People believe that it is also the place where Krishna used to hide the clothes of the Gopis' while they took bath in the Yamuna River. Around this ghat some old statutes are seen, which are believed to have been built in the 15th century. Lord Chaitanya also rested on the Chir Ghat.
