Chenab Valley

The Chenab (Chandra Bhaga) Valley is a square-shaped low-lying region about 77 sq km in area, lying between the Pangi and Zaskar ranges in Jammu and Kashmir. This region, also known as the Pattan Valley, is divided into two equal sections by the Gurdhar peaks, nearly 21,000 ft high. The Chandra and Bhaga rivers meet at Tandi forming the Chandrabhaga or Chenab River which flows into Himachal Pradesh.

The best season to visit this picturesque valley is from June to September.
