Chasu




Chasu is a picturesque hamlet situated about 19 km from Sapni in Kinnaur District, Himachal Pradesh. The village lies on the Shibaling Pass trek route in the Baspa Valley. Surrounded by dense forest and apple orchards, Chasu offers enchanting views of snow-capped peaks and deep valleys all around. Narenas, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the main attraction of Chasu. Mupa, Wangtoo, Charang, Chitkul, Dummer, Tranda, Karchham and Nichar are nearby tourist destinations. Chasu is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Local houses are available for stay. The nearest railway station and airport are at Shimla. Chasu can be approached from Sarahan.
