Birme

Located on the National Highway 7, Birme is in Satna District of Madhya Pradesh. It lies towards the district’s western border with Panna District, about 50 km south of Satna and 70 km north-east of Katni.

Maihar Shiva Temple, Pawai Wali Mata Temple and Bandhavgarh National Park are the tourist options to choose from.

Nearest airport is at Khajuraho. Satna Railway Station serves the town.
