Bhastu

Bhastu or Chalto Ambo is an ancient mango tree situated on a small hill in Sanjan, Gujarat. This 1200-year-old tree is popularly known as walking tree. It has become a tourist spot because of the strange movement of its branches and roots. With its substantial number of leaves and long branches, Bhastu lowers down and forms roots. As a result, a new trunk is grown and old ones dry off. In this manner, it is estimated that the tree moves one yard each year.

The venue is about 5 hrs drive from Mumbai, Maharashtra.
