Sanjan is a small town in the Valsad District of Gujarat. Parsis first settled at Sanjan when they came to India. The journey of the Parsis from Persia to India is described in the 'Kisseh-i-Sanjan', the story of Sanjan. Kisseh-i-Sanjan was written in Persian verse by Bahman Kaikobad and has been translated into Gujarati and English.

Sanjan Memorial Column was built in this town in 1917 to memorize the landing of the Parsis (Zoroastrians) in India. It is one of the holy places of Parsis.
