Banpur, a spectacular place, is situated at Rerwa Village in
Gumla District,
Jharkhand. It is famous for an old temple of
Lord Shiva, which is at the bottom of a hill. There is a pond beside the temple.
A grand fair is held here on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. The place is about 11 km from Kamdara.
