Badharangadi




Badharangadi is a historical place 6 km from the beautiful hill station of Gwaldam. Badharangadi lies on a high mountain that is 2,260 m above sea level. The remnants of old forts can be seen here, which suggest that this had been a strategic location in the past.

Roopkund lake, Gwalnaag, and the Buddhist Math are some of the spots worth visiting.

The season at Badharangadi is at its best in the months of May, June, September and October.

The nearest Jolly Grant Airport is at a distance of 263 km. Rishikesh Railway station is the nearest from Gwaldam. Buses ply from Dehradun, Almora and other cities to Gwaldam.
