Athena is a lounge cum bar/restaurant and a premier night spot in downtown
Mumbai. It is located behind Radio club, on the Minoo Desai Road, in
Colaba.
In Athena, one would get to rub his shoulders with the elite and celebs of Mumbai. Non members have to pay Rs 1000 for both couples and stags.
Arabian, Indian and Western decor garnishes its interiors. The dance floor that occupies the central space will be bustling on Fridays, Saturdays and elite nights. Three bars surrounding the main area serve the most exotic liquors and cocktails. One of the bars serves wine only while the 'Buddha Bar' is an exclusive member arena. A multi-cuisine restaurant and a Champagne and Cigar lounge, which is exclusively reserved for its members, complete the hip world of Athena.
Stags are not permitted on weekends. Dressing strictly Western – in smart casuals though Indo – Western costumes are largely gaining ground these days. A six valet parking solves the parking problem for the guests.
Athena is just a 2 minute drive from Taj Mahal Hotel at the Gateway of India. By train, alight at Churchgate Railway Station or CST.
