Arulmigu Koniamman Thirukoil




Arulmigu Koniamman Thirukoil is an ancient temple, situated near the Townhall, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was built by Irula community in the 13th century. The presiding deity here is Goddess Koniamman, enshrined in the form of Mahishasuramardini.

Shivratri, Thaipusam, Vinayaka Chaturthi and Thanurmaatha Festival are the major festivals celebrated in the temple.

The temple remains open from 6:00 to 12:30 hrs and 16:00 to 21:00 hrs.
