Arkavathi River, a tributary of the
Cauvery River, originates from the 115671Nandi Hills in
Karnataka. The total length of the river is about 161 km. Arkavathi River has a catchment area of about 4,351 sq km. Kumaudavathy, Manihalla, Kuttehole, Vrishabhavathy are its tributaries. The river joins the Cauvery at the Sangama near
